This book deals with the law of contract operating in the South Pacific. It commences with an examination of the sources of law and an explanation of the relationship between introduced law and regional law, including customary law. The text looks systematically at the principles of contract law governing the making of contracts, legal enforceability, vitiating factors, discharge and remedies. Whilst reference is made to applicable English cases, the text concentrates on regional authorities. The most important Pacific legislation relating to contracts is also identified and its relevance explained.
