The text examines the law of trusts in the South Pacific region. It focuses on express trusts, constructive trusts, charitable trusts and discretionary trusts and explores the nature of the office of the trustee and the position of beneficiaries. The development of the law relating to trusts, trustees and trust companies in the South Pacific region is discussed. Where relevant, authorities and commentaries from Pacific-rim countries and jurisdictions and beyond the Pacific are drawn upon.
