[Note 1:  In April 2006, elections in the Solomon Islands resulting in the election of Snyder Rini as Prime Minister, was followed immediately by scenes of civil unrest and protest that within hours escalated to widespread looting and arson of Chinese owned business interests in Honiara.  The following reading list was compiled by Peter Murgatroyd, former USP Law Librarian, and was last updated in 2005.
