2011 Activities
Walk-a-thon - The members had a walk-a-thon on the 5th of October 2011 to raise funds for the Association's activities. The walk started from the Bauerfield International terminal to the Public Library in the heart of Port Vila. It was supported by children, fathers and friends of the VLA members and the turnout was very successful. Thank you sincerely to all who have taken part and sponsored the members.
VLA Workshop - This was a half-day workshop which was an initiative of the members who felt strongly about the work of Libraries today. Topics covered were suggested by the members and vinaka vakalevu to Vilimaina Vakaciwa - the Regional Librarian based at Laucala Campus Library who kindly accepted the offer to be the presenter of the workshop.

Fundraising:
Cake sale 19th March 2007 Public Works Department Conference Room.
First major fundraising activity Friday 20th April 2007 Vanuatu Institute of Teacher Education premises.
Second major fundraising activity planned for Friday 13th July 2007 at the USP Emalus Campus Nakamal has been postponed due to unforeseen reasons.
